Table Mountain Aerial CableWay

Table Mountain, known as Cape Town’s African Wonder is  a trip very worthy of your time. . The more energetic may prefer to hike, but no-one will judge you if you prefer a leisurely ride up to the top instead.  Other than fantastic views at the top of this iconic landmark, there is a lovely café at the top of the mountain where you can enjoy lovely snacks and a beverage of your choice.

Robben Island

Robben Island, the unique symbol of “the triumph of the human spirit over adversity, suffering and injustice” with a rich 500 year old multi-layered history, is visited every year by thousands of people eager to understand and honour the important aspects of South Africa’s history that the Island represents.

Nelson Mandela served most of his 27-year sentence in the prison here, along with hundreds of other political detainees. It’s now a Unesco world heritage site definitely worth a visit.

Kirstenbosch

Some 1,300 acres of botanical garden sloping down from Table Mountain through Cape Town’s leafy southern suburbs. The Tree Canopy Walkway (also known as ‘the Boomslang’, or tree snake) provides an elevated spot perfect for bird-watching and selfie-snapping.
